Introducing yourself

Hello members of wi1p,

I start this discussion on the forum, because I find it important that people know why other people joined the Wi1p, and what the purpose of the WI1P really is.

So the best thing to do is to lead by example, and inviting everyone else to do so as well.
The WI1P is about achieving things together, and therefore it is important that you start to know the people behind it.

My name is Fred Eijkenboom, and I live in the Netherlands. I am 45, a proud parent of 3 children, and have always looked for an opportunity to make a difference in this world. Not only talking, but doing, leaving a legacy behind.

The fact is, that I grew about in a normal family, father working in a factory, mother a housewife, and was thought to find a good job and stay there. But it always kept on feeling incomplete working for a boss, because it didn't give me the satisfaction I was looking for.

I started doing several kind of studies, courses and businesses developing myself and my mindset. Through the years I met a lot of interesting people, and I learned the power of marketing, and also what misunderstandings there were and still are.

I was looking for something, in which we could participate, and which could start living according to the wealth principles, including giving to the needy.

Through a friend of mine, I came in contact with edge2edge and the Wi1P, with a great program, which made it possible for me to participate in making a difference..

To participate one on one, helping people, so it will be possible for everyone to participate, but also B2B and very important, to get wellknown people involved.

To create a synergy, where every person's quality will be of use, helping other people.
My request is here as well, for all of you that are going to join the Wi1p, not only to join, but to participate, and make a difference.. To be the miracle instead of waiting for a miracle.

I end for now with a famout quote from Ghandi:

Hi,

I am Diana and I live in a small rural area called Catembe across the bay from Maputo the capital of Mozambique. Although close to the capital we are very rural and largely forgotten.

In Mozambique there are many so called aid organizations but very little filters down to the people and that,that does filter down before it gets to those that need it, it is more often that not skimmed off the top by local administrators or secretaries of the area.

I do not know if you are aware but you well intended donated money that goes into whichever organization you chose anything from 75 to 95% is used for "Admin Costs".

I am tired of seeing this at grass roots level and will no longer donate to organisations.

Instead I make a difference myself by choosing those that I give to as individuals.

I feed everyday 65 people and see myself that food is physically going into their bellies and not some corrupt official's belly.

Further I employ another 30 people that frankly most I have no need for but no matter how poor someone is they have and are entitled to their dignity.

I live in a very small home with a small garden, have 3 gardeners,I live by myself, have 3 domestic servants, have 4 night security guards none of these people are needed but am giving them their dignity by allowing them to work and take home their monthly wages.

Each of those 30 people I am employing actually represents a total of 300 people as normally you will find 10 to a family normally including grandparents.

We are of course now faced with the problem of Aids and there are many parent less children.

This is who I feed plus we have many mentally retarded adults whom are amongst those that I also feed daily.

I know I have made a huge difference to many people and will continue to do so.
